Poem: Hymn to the mountain (Ύμνος στο βουνό)

In you the tall mountain
we find the stability
that inspires our deeds
In your open horizons
we escape from the tunnel
of our everyday affairs
and with the patience
that builds civilisation
we restore within us
the cosmic order

Σε εσένα το ψηλό βουνό
βρίσκουμε την αταραξία
που εμπνέει τα έργα μας
Στους ανοιχτούς σου ορίζοντες
ξεφεύγουμε από την στενωπό
της καθημερινότητας μας
και με την υπομονή
που χτίζει τον πολιτισμό
επαναφέρουμε μέσα μας
την κοσμική τάξη
